| the tea won't work. use lemon juice! i have tried it and it actually does work over time. it will lighten it a little bit the first time but then if you keep doing it (especially in the summer heat) it will gradually lighten your hair more and more. 1. take 100% real lemon juice (no sugars or anything artificial in there!) and put it into a squirt bottle 2. using dry hair spray the lemon juice all over your hair until it is wet with the lemon juice 3. either use a blowdryer on high heat or go out in the sun for a while and let hair dry. (must be hot, though!) 4.) shower so you don't have lemon-y hair and style. |

| Blonde hair? - bleach or tint? ( Professional advice needed)? I have an inch below the shoulder hair which has been attacked with colour over the last 3 years I started off pasteing on bleach to my roots myself then my friend use to apply bleach in foils on my roots and now i use tint 11n with a squirt of blonding cream with 30 vol and foil the roots. Is this the best way to colour my hair as I do want to stay blonde. its so thin now as has been ruined through bleaching. I have been clipping in blode hair extensions when i have modelling/promotion jobs as my hair is a state.Help if you can?? |
| ok, well first of all- why on earth are u bleaching ur roots!? if ur hair is light enough u should be able to get a lift just using 40 volume developer mixed with ur color, and u shouldn't just use any bleach either- bleach is not intended for coloring new growth unless- it's blondor (bleach that can be applied to scalp- made by wella hair products), u don't always have to bleach and color- u can use a bleach wash to lighten ur hair also- that's when u mix bleach with equal part of shampoo- together and work it through to lighten- it won't cause as much damage as just using plain bleach. u can also do a soap cap( used only to freshen up ur color) soap cap is the mixed color with shampoo and leave it on for about 10-20 minutes and rinse out. all these tips are just so u can be more informed on coloring ur hair- i don't however suggest u do this urself- go to a professional to get ur hair done- i've seen many cases of at home coloring experiments. hope this info helped u. |
| Please tell me more about this blue shampoo to take out orange tones? When I bought the hair color the box said permanent color. It was a ultra light ash blonde color L'oreal paris lesblndemmiss. Would this mean that it was bleach or had bleach in it. The contents had a small red brown bottle mixture that was poured into a plastic squirt bottle with a white cream mixture in it. When the two were mixed and shaken the contents looked kind of light brownish red. The contents were not green. I did notice the mixture turning blue on my Tee Shirt but not in my hair. My hair is naturally light brown with some red tones. Now it is blonde with orange tones. I would like to get it lighter without the orange tones. Will the blue shampoo make it lighter? I really like my hair blonde and so does everyone else. I like this except for the orange tones. Where can I get the shampoo? Thanks for your help! |
| Go to a beauty supply store and get a color TONER. Clairol makes quite a few. I think if you want it lighter blonde you would get a champagne colored toner. Tell the person at the store what you are trying to achieve and they can help. The shampoo you are speaking of is called Shimmer Lights by Clairol. They also offer a conditioner of the same name. These will remove slight orange tones but will not dramatically change the color of your hair. |

| your smart to take advantage of the summer sun to use sun in to lighten your hair before you dye it, your prepare your hair to be lighter with a less damaging method. my advice it to keep using sun in for a while (maybe 1-2 more weeks unless you feel the damage is getting a little uncomfortable for you), then make an appointment at your salon, or any Good salon you want to go to, tell them you want to go blonde and ask to see the shades they can dye your hair of blonde, or even better bring that picture you linked of the color you want to be and tell them you want that shade of blonde ( you might feel silly walking into a salon with a picture but many people do it so don't worry). just make sure you communicate to the stylist what color exactally you want and they will show you options on a color list of what they can do. but if you don't want or cant go to a salon and are doing it yourself then definitely avoid hair bleach if you can, if your hair has lightened some more after two more weeks of sun in try the L'oreal Paris Feria hair dye, heres a link to the shade you would want www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/ex… You might need to dye it with this dye twice to get your hair to as light as your wanting it considering your going from light brown, but it might only take once. having said all this, hair bleaching kits like you will find at sally s beauty supply or anywhere else will be a sure thing to work and get your hair blonde, just you will have less control over the exact color you will get with bleach then you would get with hair dye. the choice is yours but if i were your best friend i would advise you to use hair dye because you see the exact color you'll get on the box and its much less damaging. | My hair's basically the same as yours. Use as little as you can get away with because it does make your hair greasier quicker, and it can damage it. If you run your fingers through your hair after you put it in or leave it in longer, it spreads it evenly and you don't have to use as much. Hope this helps!! <3 |
